Whether you’re new to faith or seeking a place to belong, Rise Students is ready to welcome you. Come be a part of something bigger, where you can make a difference, forge new friendships, and grow in your faith journey. Join us next Sunday and see what Rise Students is all about!
Rise Students gathers in a room crafted just for them, located off the main lobby. Every detail, from the wall decor to the furniture and even the snacks, is tailored to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere that speaks directly to the needs and interests of teenagers. This is a place where they can relax, laugh, and learn in a space that feels like their own.
We meet on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of every month at 4:00 p.m. Each gathering is a blend of fun and faith, featuring games, snacks, engaging lessons, and small group discussions. These activities are designed not only to entertain but also to provoke thought and encourage deeper connections with peers and leaders alike.
Beyond regular meetings, Rise Students participates in exciting events throughout the year. From summer beach days to kickball, go-karts, and mini-golf, these activities provide additional opportunities for students to bring friends and experience community in action. Our annual Christmas party is a highlight, celebrating the joy of the season together.
Led by a passionate team of adults—Jon, Emily, Mary, Elizabeth, and Aaron—our ministry is committed to guiding students towards a deeper relationship with Jesus. Rise Students are also a cornerstone of service within our church, actively involved in areas like guest services, tech teams, and even mentoring younger kids in Rise Kids. This engagement teaches responsibility and the joy of serving others, core aspects of our faith practice.
