EASTER AT RISE CHURCH!

Acts 28 - Devotions

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness in my life. I praise You for the times You've brought me through storms and carried me to safety. Help me to remember Your faithfulness today and to trust in Your goodness, even when I'm facing difficulties. I know that You are with me, and You will see me through to the other side. Amen.

Monday:

Scripture: Acts 28:1-10

Reflection: Even in the face of shipwreck and uncertainty, God's provision shines through. Like Paul, we can trust that God will meet our needs and use even difficult circumstances for His purposes.

Question: When have you experienced God's provision in a challenging situation?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. Help me to trust in Your provision, even when life feels uncertain.

Tuesday:

Scripture: Acts 28:11-16

Reflection: God's sovereignty guides our steps, even when our plans change. Like Paul, we can find encouragement in the support of fellow believers as we journey towards God's purposes for our lives.

Question: How have you seen God's hand at work in redirecting your path?

Prayer: Lord, I surrender my plans to You. Guide my steps and lead me where You want me to be.

Wednesday:

Scripture: Acts 28:16-22

Reflection: Paul's imprisonment didn't stop him from sharing the Gospel. We, too, can find creative ways to share our faith, even in the midst of limitations.

Question: What are some ways you can share your faith with those around you, even if you feel limited or constrained?

Prayer: Lord, give me boldness to speak Your truth, even when it's challenging. Open doors for me to share the Gospel with others.

Thursday:

Scripture: Acts 28:23-28

Reflection: The Gospel challenges deeply held beliefs. Like Paul, we must be prepared to explain and defend our faith, trusting the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of those who hear.

Question: How has the Gospel challenged your own beliefs and worldview?

Prayer: Holy Spirit, guide my words as I share the Gospel. Help me to speak truth with love and grace.

Friday:

Scripture: Acts 28:30-31

Reflection: The spread of the Gospel didn't end with Paul; it continues with us. We are called to boldly proclaim the Kingdom of God, using our everyday lives as a platform for ministry.

Question: How can you make your life a testimony to the power of the Gospel?

Prayer: Lord, use me to continue Your work in the world. Help me to live out the Gospel boldly and without hindrance.
