Holy Spirit The Struggle for Real Change
Series Title: The Struggle for Real Change
Dates: Monday, March 18th – Friday, March 22nd
Introduction to the 555 Process
Welcome to this week’s 555 Devotional. Each day, we’ll spend 15 focused minutes deepening our connection with God:
Why This Matters
Real, lasting change doesn’t come from trying harder or doing more. It comes from surrendering to the Holy Spirit, who works in us to produce genuine transformation. We’re not called to “fix” ourselves, but to stay connected to Jesus, allowing His Spirit to bear fruit in our lives.
This week, as we explore The Struggle for Real Change, we’ll focus on what it looks like to abide in Christ and yield to the Holy Spirit’s work within us. Take this time each day to slow down, be still, and invite God to do what only He can do—change us from the inside out.
Monday
Scripture:
Galatians 5:22-25 (NIV)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit."
Reflection (Journal Prompt):
Tuesday
Scripture:
John 15:4-5 (NIV)
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
Reflection (Journal Prompt):
Wednesday
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV)
"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
Reflection (Journal Prompt):
Thursday
Scripture:
Philippians 2:13 (NIV)
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Reflection (Journal Prompt):
Friday
Scripture:
Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NIV)
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws."
Reflection (Journal Prompt):
